Quest at Latta Nature Preserve
Quest Nature Center operates as a partnership between Park and Recreation and the Carolina Raptor Center.
Quest Nature Center offers educational programs for all ages and features live, native animals, a 3,000- square foot interactive exhibit hall including a 6,000-gallon aquarium, classrooms, conference rooms, rentable space and the Raptor Center's gift shop. For information on renting spaces at the nature center, please contact the facility.
Mountain Island Lake Centennial Events
Mountain Island Lake turns 100 this year! Come celebrate with us through a variety of different themed programs and events to highlight this monumental year with Quest.
- STEAM on the Water
April 13 from 10am-3pm-Discover Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics through the lens of ecology and conservation as it relates to the freshwater ecosystem. This is a collaborative event with the Carolina Raptor Center, so be sure to give yourself enough time to visit STEAM on the Wing too!
