Hosting an Event or Festival

Important information and documents you will need to host an event in partnership with Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation. To fill in the documents below, please download the appropriate form.

Sundown Sounds Music Series

Sundown Sounds is a free concert series that takes place at multiple Park and Recreation locations throughout the summer. Genres include Blues, Latin Jazz, Rock, party bands and more!

Food, beer and wine vendors are available on site. No outside alcohol allowed/permitted.

2024 Lineup

The 2024 series runs from June to August. 

  • Ramsey Creek Beach will host concerts on the second Friday of each month (June 14, July 12 and Aug. 9)
     
  • Eastway Regional Recreation Center will host concerts on the third Thursday (June 20, July 18 and Aug. 15)
     
  • Pearl Street Park will host concerts on the fourth Thursday (June 27, July 25 and Aug. 22)
