Sundown Sounds Music Series

Turn up the volume on your summer nights! The Sundown Sounds Music Series is set to bring the beat to three Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation locations on select nights from June through August.

This free family-friendly summer concert series is your ticket to an unforgettable evening of music, food and fun under the stars.

From high-energy rock to smooth soul and everything in between, each show features top-notch live performances that will have you dancing on the lawn.

The event runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.  

Local food trucks will be onsite. Beer will be available for purchase for adults 21 and older (no outside alcohol is permitted).

Meck Fest

Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation will host a series of free, family-friendly festivals in select neighborhoods from April through September. Meck Fest events will feature youth activities, food trucks, music and more. The program will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on each date. See the schedule below:

Hosting an Event or Festival
